Mission Statement

Sand Castles Academy is a private, non-accredited school that offers individualized educational programs and tutorial support in a structured setting.  It is an alternative choice for educational success.  Sand Castles Academy offers students the opportunity to excel as individuals in traditional academic areas while in an environment that is highly non-traditional yet effective in building high quality standards with respect for self and community.  Sand Castles Academy maintains essential values of kindness and community service.  Students attending Sand Castles Academy will voluntarily support and encourage others in maintaining school rules that make it possible for all students to learn and achieve their academic goals.

Each student has the right to dream and work to achieve those dreams as long as they do nothing that is harmful to themselves or the well-being of others.  There is hope when young people work together for common and individual good.  No one knows what tomorrow may bring, but each student can commit to being a responsible force for good today.  “Good” in this context means striving to live in peace, inflict no harm to others and work to become productive, independent adults.  Hope comes when individuals pledge to peaceably cooperate with one another regardless of the conditions that may arise.  Hope comes from a love and respect for self and others.

Enrollment
An Educational Contract for 1 School Year
(August – May: 10 months)

School Year Fees
$650/month Independent Program (1 to 12 ratio)
$820/month Group Support (1 to 6 ratio)
$995/month Significant Support (1 to 3 ratio)
$2990/month Full Support (1 to 1 ratio)

The goal is to help students become as independent as educationally possible.
Rates may decrease the end of December—only with academic proof of success with less support.
- Fees for Virtual School Curriculum from public school are free - paid by your tax dollars. 
- Parent must pay for chosen Virtual School Curriculum, if not enrolled in public school program by September 15^th.
